My specs are
CPU:intel core i7-4700mq @2.4ghz (up to 3,4ghz)
ram: 8gb ddr3
gpu:gt 745m 2gb vram
current wireless adaptor: intel wireless-N 7260

I get disconnected from the internet every 10 minutes as the n-7260 is kinda problematic....i think upgrading is reasonable, but i don't know if my system will support the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. How can i find out ?

Can u guys tell *(from board form factor)* if there will be any compatibility problems?

Solution
Unfortunately no. The 7260 was produced in both a PCIe Half Mini Card format and an M.2 format. So without being able to tell which one you have, I couldn't give a recommendation. While the internet has a ton of how to's on replacing the hard drive, I cant find one on the wifi card. However it is incredibly easy to see which one you have. The rear panel pops off and gives you direct access to the card.

If you pop your card out and it looks like this guy

then you should be able to swap it with this guy

That seems to be a bit of a hard nut to crack. I can't seem to find anything on it specifically to your model. Judging off the pictures of the cards, they look to physical fit in the same slot. Best I could say is get one from a place with a good return policy and give it a try.

Would you mind suggesting some other wifi cards that "will" work 100%? I'm using windows 10
I really need to change the N-7260...
Btw thanks for answering so fast

Since they're both m.2 NGFF cards they "should" work. Unfortunately that's the best I can offer for an internal card replacement.
