Can i upgrade my Win 7-32 bits version to 64 bit version.

I have a 6 year old pc, running windows 7 32-bits, can i upgrade it to windows 7-64 bits or windows 8, without recurring any extra cost.(Piracy of Original Doesn't matter, if it is fully functional).
I am new to this so needed help from Experts like you guys. Thanking you in advance. :D

IF YOU HAVE A LEGITIMATE LICENSE:
- You will need to reinstall Windows, but you can change between 32bit and 64bit without issue. Just use the same key with the 64bit installer and you are fine
- You must have the license for the version you are installing, you cannot upgrade to Win 8 if you don't have a license, nor upgrade from Home to Pro. Only change must be 32bit vs 64bit
