My PC has a motherboard by Lenovo and the model name is Sharkbay 31900058 STD
chip set is intel
I wanted to know if I would upgrade my pc so it has Intel I7 4th gen and Nvidia 780TI and make its ram to 18g

current specs:
processor : i5 4460 3.2ghz
ram: 8g dd3
gpu: NVidia GeForce gtx 745

thank you your input would be helpful.

When you upgrade the OEM pc, you need to make sure
1) For cpu, check the Lenovo site to see their cpu support list to see they support that cpu or not, because the MB needs the BIOS to support the cpu, if the cpu is not in their list, that means they don't provide the BIOS for that cpu. Then don't try it.
2) You need get the new PSU too, most of OEM pc only comes with 300W PSU, which can't power the 780ti.
3) Find the GPU's dimension, and make the measurement for the case to see the new GPU will fit into the case or not. Like http://www.adventcomputers.co.uk/product-support/how-upgrade-your-desktop-pc%E2%80%99s-graphics-card

Hey, I'd upgrade to this (according to your requirements):
CPU : Intel® Core™ i7-4770K Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz)
RAM : Kingston DDR3 HyperX FURY White 2x8GB 1600MHz Cas10
GPU : Asus GTX980 TI STRIX Gaming DirectCU III OC 6GB GDDR5

I hope I could have help in some way and yes, that's quite the investment. The best of luck!
