Can I upgrade the gpu in my MSI notebook?

I recently got a new laptop for college and for gaming. So i got the MSI GE72 235 Apache Pro. It seemed to have good reviews for gaming and everything. However, i've found out that the only game that plays well on it is Garry's Mod. Everything else has a lot of input lag and really bad FPS (10-15). Now I think i made a mistake because a major reason I got this laptop/notebook was so that i could go to lan parties without lugging my desktop. So back to the question at hand, Can i upgrade the gpu to a 970m from the 960m? Or am i SOL?

Is there any chance you can return it? In the UK you get 30 days under consumer rights where you can take it back without even giving a reason

um... a gtx 960m should be able to run every game with a solid fps at high-med... gmod would run 200+fps are u sure your not running your games with the intel graphics card lmao
