Hey guys!
I recently bought the HP Pavilion 15-G019WM and apparently the processor power isn't great enough.

HP Pavilion 15-G019WM runs an AMD E1-2100 (2 CPUs), 1.0 Ghz

I need to know which processor had be the best possible upgrade for this machine, considering the socket and other hardware compatibility of this machine.

Since it is running an AMD processor I don't know whether it had be possible to upgrade to any other common processors.

Please help me with this matter, guys.

Thank you!

Holy Toledo...they are putting 1 Ghz processors in laptops still?

There are two manufactures of processors, Intel and AMD. Your laptop's motherboard will only support AMD processors because the motherboard and cpu socket was made for AMD technology.

I did a few searches and I haven't found anything at all about a CPU Upgrade or a possibility of upgrading. My supplier doesn't even offer any CPU upgrades for the AMD E Tier 1. There is one processor I see that is slightly better...it is the AMD E1-2500 which is only @1.48Ghz which really won't help you at all.

Why did you buy this laptop?

I bought this laptop considering the economy in budget. Regardless, I don't intend to play games on this. I just wanted to know whether I had be able to upgrade it and if it was so, then it had be great. Thank you guys for your answers. :)

That would explain quite a few things. I've never had the pleasure of working on a laptop with an AMD E1 or E2 processor in it so I have quite literally no clue as to what the motherboard or CPU socket looks like. :)
