Can i upgrade this laptop?

Hello,so i want to upgrade my laptop because the cpu is really bad at this laptop but i don't know if i can even upgrade this laptop so could anyone help me and give me an answer?
The laptop model is an Acer Aspire 5 A515-41G-15YB.

4 ram
GPU: RX 540
CPU: AMD A12 9720P
MOBO: BR Wartortle BS

Yes this is true on most laptops in this range. There's only very few laptops out there that allow for CPU upgrading but most have them soldered onto the motherboard along with the GPU. Most laptop components are made to work for that laptop only and will not work outside of that laptop, and are not interchangeable.

But what if i were to upgrade all the components from the laptop? the mobo,gpu,cpu etc.
Would i be able to do that?

The answer would still be no as it's not built the same standards as a desktop.

Build a desktop.

Not to mention the cost of upgrading a laptop would be higher then building a desktop
