Can I upgrade this laptops processor?

I would like to upgrade my laptops processor to something more powerful. I was looking to upgrade it to something of equivalence to the i5-4570 and knowing how inefficient laptops can be when it comes to compatibility I came here to find an appropriate processor for my model.

Thanks in advance and money is not an issue and I would prefer to not buy a new laptop

B) It is very rare for a laptop that can be upgrading. 99% of the time everything is soldered to the board, and nothing can be replaced(besides RAM and battery).

Since we do not know the make/model of the laptop, it is impossible to tell.

But if it can be changed, generally that is only within a small range of processors. You might not see any real difference.

In the end, though, probably not. And even if you could the upgrade probably won't be leaps and bounds above what you have now.

Yes sorry. The first time I tried posting this it messed up and I forgot to add the model because I was in a hurry. The model is an Acer Aspire V3-771

No you can't upgrade it, it's soldered on.
