Can I Upgrade to a GTX 1060?

what specific power supply do you have. it may or may not work depending on that. the cpu will pair fine with it. don't worry about bottlenecks and all that stuff.

just be sure the power supply can handle it. but need ot know the model you have so can check for what it can do

here is a list of card models for 1060's that includes power needs and dimensions to help narrow down what will work for you. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3047729/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1000-series-megathread-faq-resources.html#17902600

if you can't do an 8-pin model there are plenty of 6-pin models out there to pick from. :)

Your cpu is fine for virtually any game.

That particular card is a highly overclocked version that needs 8 pin power.
If your 400w psu is of excellent quality, and has an 8 pin or a 6+2 pin power lead, then it can work.
I am doubtful you have one, and using molex or other adapters will not work.
Moreover, it may well overload a cheap psu and damage anything it is connected to if it fails under load.

It will fit in your case.

It is compatible with your motherboard.

would definitely not try an adapter on such a low quality psu. i don't suggest them anyway but most certainly not on this type of psu.

get a 1060 with only a 6-pin requirement or get a new psu. we can offer suggestions if you wish. should not be any issue adding a new psu to your system. it'll work with the mobo and other parts already there.
