can i upgrade to intel i3 third genaration processor insted of intel i3 second genaration processor

Can anybody answer me...! I have asus p8h61-mlx r2.0 mother board. Will it support intel 3rd genaration i 3 processor....? recently i upgraded to windows 8.1.. but i can't get graphics driver for this..when i find in asus web site there is only graphics driver for 3rd genartion i3 processors..if you have a better solution for this help me

Processors are designed to process data - cache and processing speed.

If you are implying generation improvements; motherboards are the one who carries generation improvements.

If your motherboard is 2nd generation or 3rd generation It's good for the board itself, It can easily run any core processor of 'i' series, i3 are mostly used in 2nd generation motherboards, you can also run it on 3rd generation for better performance.

You can get HD3000 graphics directly from intel website.If you want upgrade you need to replace mobo and 2nd gen to 3rd gen i3 not worth the effort

Oh...dear friends thankyou for your great assistance...my doubt is almost cleard...and can i install intel hd 3000 graphics on my computer if iam using asus p8h61-mlx r2.0 mobo(iam using intel core i3 -2120 SECOND GENARATION processor)
