So hey Guys, I want to use 2 power supply. 1 is a 320 watts and the other is a 550 watts. The reason I want to use 2 power supply is because im waiting for my 24 pin to 6 pin cable to be delivered which is for another week.

Thanks in advance to whomever will answer

If you connect it up correctly, yes.

How do you plan to trigger the power on on the second PSU?

I dont know if this will work but im planning to connect my 550 watts on my gpu and 320 watts on the motherboard. So the reason im doing this btw is because the 550 watts psu uses a 24 pin connector and my old motherboard an old 6 pin connector ( not sure what its called)

Right.. So how do you plan on TURNING ON the second PSU?

The fact that you don't understand the question makes me lean towards USAFRet's response being the best. You don't turn on a PSU by just plugging it in and flipping the switch on in the back.

You might be in over your head.

In addition, you state this is a temp situation, while you wait for some adapter cable to arrive.

We need a detailed description of what you currently have, what you've bought, and what you're trying to do.
Even before any dual PSU config.

Incompatible motherboard-PSU is not fixed with a simple cable from fleabay.
