Question Can I use 8 pin PCIe cable to power my gpu from a different brand?

I have Thermaltake Smart SE 530 watt psu. Recently I bought a rx 570 8gb and that require 8 pin power cable which I dont have. I managed a 8 pin male to male power cable from an Antec 550w psu and it fits perfectly. Can I use it?

Never ever mix cables from different PSU model. It may fit perfectly while having different pinout, meaning when you turn it on it will just fry GPU.

Do not. Power supplies are not standardized on modular connectors. You can easily damage both the power supply and the GPU.

Good chance it will take out the PSU and your setup. Never mix and match cables.
