Can I use a coffee filter as a fan filter?

Like the question says can I use one for my computer? Just curious before I might buy a magnetic filter.

NO. Coffee filters are quite a bit more dense than a filter you'd use over a fan.

Yep. Too restrictive. Try a used fabric softener sheet after it has been used in the dryer.

Had to google this after hearing about it, people have used panty hose and in some cases go ahead and encase their entire system. A more practical suggestion is a roll of the stuff that goes into screen door windows, but avoid the metallic ones just in case.
