[SOLVED] Can i use a dell GPU on a non Dell motherboard?

Hi. I have a G5 5090 Desktop from Dell. I found out that my GPU was made by Dell. I saw a couple posts saying if i used Dell products with non Dell products, the non Dell products will be burned from the Dell Product (My Gpu). I was wondering if that was true, because i want to change my Dell motherboard with a Asus motherboard, and dont want my motherboard to burn because my gpu is from Dell

Yes, you can use the Dell GPU with other non-Dell motherboards. This also works the other way as well (non-Dell GPUs will work in Dell motherboards).

Ok. Thank you for replying. I saw people saying that when you buy a standard motherboard for your Dell, and plug in the Dell power supply, they hope it will burn out the non-Dell part to "teach you a lesson" about buying the "lower quality" stuff.
