Can I use a different ATX 24-pin cable than the provided cable from the manufacturer?

My dog destroyed a ATX cable when I wasn't looking. Went to the computer store to buy a single ATX cable. The man told me that I would need to buy one from the manufacturer( $60) or just buy a new PSU. This doesn't sound logical to me.

I don't know much about this, are there a different between different ATX cables. Can I find ATX cable rated for 650W?

The PSU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438026

ATX Cable I was thinking about buying: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812304013&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Cables+-+Internal+Power+Cables-_-N82E16812304013&gclid=CPnJ7d3n5dMCFd66wAod9RIMHA&gclsrc=aw.ds

Do you know of anywhere I can buy individual cables? Looking at EVGA's website all there connectors are basically the same price as the PSU brand new.
