[SOLVED] Can I use a external Power Switch while using the desktop case hdd light activity?

My issue is my Fractal Design case power button and reset button no longer works(the headers for power/reset actually are dead) so I'm thinking of buying an external power switch to to power my pc but my issue can i use the external power switch while using the case hdd light? will there be issue using the external power switch connector and the case front panel connector for hdd light?.

Yes, you can do that. You will simply plug the external power switch into the corresponding PWR Switch pins on the motherboard while leaving the HDD activity plugged in as well.
