Can I use a Noctua low noise adapter with these fans?

My radiator fans are in push pull so some of them are visible. I have a windowed case and don't wanna see the ugly Noctua colors anymore. I know some of you won't agree with me but it's just how I feel. Anyways I like to use the low noise adapter included with the Noctua fans. It makes the max rpm drop from 1500 to about 1200. So can I use the adapter with this fan? Keep in mind this fans max rpm is 1600.

It just lowers voltage using a resistor in line, could be used with any fan. Your fan will never hit it's highest RPM even when needed. It's better to control them some other way so they stay at low RPM until needed.

Already controlling them in the bios, I just prefer to use the adapter. Thanks
