[SOLVED] can I use a rx 470

hi my pc currently has a 1050ti and an i5 6400 and my psu is around 300 w or 350w
and I was wondering if my psu would be good enough for an rx 470 or 480 or 570

and I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy a rx 470 used and if so what website I should buy them from I was looking into the rx 470 the most

Solution
Yep, if you go with a 580, then go for a PSU.

Here is a decent budget PSU that will work well with the 580.

The 470 will require an additional power from the PSU. Your 1050ti runs on the power from the PCIe slot. But that wont be enough for a 470. So if you upgrade, you will need a new PSU.

But going from a 1050ti to a 470 is not really an upgrade. Those cards are about the same. I would look at a 580/1060 or higher for an upgrade along with a new PSU.

what about the rx 570 could you also link me the cheapest psu that'd work with it

A 570 is not really an upgrade to a 1050ti. They get very similar fps.

I am gonna get a rx 580 there are some for cheap on newegg
