Hello, I need some guidance on this, I will be getting the Asus Tuf B650-E Wifi, it's not an actual E I believe and I will pair it with a 7600x or a 7700x for now.

Here is the question, I like to upgrade CPUs, at some point, I will upgrade to maybe a 9800X3D or to a 9950x but I'm not sure if the VRMs of the Tuf B650-E with an 8+2 teamed power stages will be able to handle such CPUs? Am I risking anything by installing such CPUs on this motherboard? Will they work as intended? (I will not be overclocking)

I have very limited options here, but the TUF B650-E has a good offer on it, my only other option is the MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI but it's much more expensive, it's a better MB, but if the TUF B650-E is sufficient I will get it and save the extra $.

The simple answer is yes. The CPU is compatible.

With proper cooling, you should be fine.

You should be fine but I'd look into a higher quality board, something above the TUF series.

If you look through the product's page;
8(60A)+2(60A) power stages with enlarged VRM heatsinks
is stated at the top of the page. If you do the math, that VRM design would handle anything you throw at it.

Perfect, I was just a bit worried about the power delivery to such high-end CPUs using this motherboard, but looks like I should be fine.

Thanks to you all and thanks for the link and the video, will check them out!

In the future, just look up the make/model of any motherboard you are considering or want to know more about. On its support page, you will find a listing of compatible CPUs and other useful information.
Will do, thank you!

Would you consider the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX v2 a higher quality board than the TUF one? Found the Aorus one with a very similar price.
