can i use an Amd fx 6300 on a Msi a78m-e35 motherboard?

Im wondering what are the best amd cpus to use on my msi a78m e35 motherboard. I plan on using it for gaming. Any help would be appreciated.

Fx uses a different socket you are best swapping mobo's or getting a x4 860k

FX6300 is not listed because, as you can see - http://www.msi.com/product/mb/A78M-E35.html#hero-specification - its a FM2 motherboard. FX6300 needs and AM#+ motherboard.

No, you can't use the FX 6300 on that motherboard, as they are different sockets (FX 6300 is AM3+ socket, your mobo supports FM2 and FM2+)

Best choices I can see are AMD A10-6800K if you want to go the APU route, or something like a AMD 760K
