[SOLVED] Can I use an M.2 adapter on my motherboard?

I would be wondering if an MSI H110M ECO motherboard (which doesn't have an M.2 SSD slot by default) would work with an M.2 adapter?

I would like to use this drive for OS (and maybe some games)
I have 3 HDDs in my system

The point is if I use adapter with the exampled M.2 drive will it work ?
If not what I would change ? I am open to your advice.

It can "probably" boot from that drive in an adapter.
You'd have to try it and see.

Alternate solution - Get a 2.5" SATA III SSD and use that.
That WILL work, and only be marginally slower than the 970. Marginally, as in you might not notice the difference in a gaming system.
