Can I use any fan port?

To start, thanks everyone for being so helpful. This is a top notch forum.

I'm playing around with cord management and don't like with my CPU fan is plugged in. My MBD is a Gigabyte B350 Gaming. All the 4 prong ports/male ends look the same. Can I use any port for my CPU fan? Or do I have to use the labeled one? I suppose I should figure out if the power is the same.

You should always use the one marked for the CPU FAN. It is designed to control the fan's speed as needed by the core temps of the CPU. In fact, some boards will not start unless the fan is plugged in to that header. (or some fan is)
