[SOLVED] can i use corsair vengence 3000mhz ram with corsair vengence 2400mhz ram?

i purchases 8gb corsair vengence 2400mhz lpx ram. now only the 3000mhz version of the same ram (corsair vengence lpx) is avaliable on amazon. does anyone know for sure that pairing the two would cause any issues or not? i have ryzen 5 1400 with b350 mobo.

Their no answer to that question. It might work, might not work, and you might be able to adjust settings to make it work.

I wouldn't mix speeds. The truth is that you can run into instability when using two sets of RAM of the same brand and model number for the simple reason that the lots are different. The memory chips need to be the same. It is highly doubtful that two different sets of differing speeds will have same memory chips.
