If the GPU and the monitor both have Displayports...yes, you use a Displayport cable.

Well, does DisplayPort Female cable even exists then? There is mini DP F cables, but I haven't found any usual DP F, so there's only DP M?

No, I don't believe there is a regular size DP female thing. Maybe in some sort of extension cable.
