Can i use Intel core i3 in to Intel DG 31 PR Classic MB

Hi My dear Friendss,

Presently I am Using A PC which have Intel DG 31PR classic Mother Board (775 Socket)
with Dual Core E2200 @ 2.2GHZ
PSU 350w
RAM 2GB

I wonden If i can change My present dual core processor with the Intel core
I3 processor, for the same Intel Mother board.


Please Help!

No, it requires a different socket.

No. The i3 will not work in Socket 775, you need a P55/H55 with LGA1156.
