Question Can I use intel stock cooler on a i7 9700k?

I am planning to build a pc so can I use intel stock cooler with i7 9700k?

Would get thermal throttling on any sort of heavy-ish, sustained load. What CPU did the cooler originally come with?

A stock cooler doesn't come included with the i7 9900k. If you plan on using one you already have, the one you're using was designed for an older processor with less cores. You WILL have problems if you do that.

Sure. Just not Intel stock cooler.
i9-9900k requires significantly better cooler.

However the i7 9700k doesn't need an expensive air cooler like the i9 9900k. My recommendation is the cryorig h5 universal. If you're only using two memory modules you can get away with the ultimate. Any cpu cooler comparable to that size should work.
