I have an Acer Aspire X3995-EF308 and would like to upgrade my ram for gaming.

These are the specs...

I'm on a budget and I won't be hardcore gaming just a game or two every now and then. So, I think 8gb ram would be sufficient enough. But I'm not sure if the ram I looked into is compatible. If these are not compatible would you be able to suggest one that is.

I looked into this...

or this...

Thank You

Well, those SHOULD work, and so should these.

Those will work, probably. They may downclock to 1333mhz if that OEM board does not have bios support for 1600mhz modules.

If you don't have to buy from Worst buy, these are cheaper, and better modules. They are also technically faster, since they have a lower CAS latency.

Yeah I looked into that ram as well but unfortunately I'm inclined to buy from best buy since I have a gift card that will cover the cost.

I'm new to pc gaming so I'm just setting up a entry level gaming rig which I'll be using exclusively for the time being to play Middle-Earth:Shadow of War.

Perfect. Thank You. I appreciate it.
