There's no problem at all slotting that card onto your existing mobo.
Your PC uses DDR3 RAM, while the graphics card uses GDDR5 RAM. They're not the same and it makes no difference which the card uses in relation to what your system uses. They'll be coming out with GDDR6 in the next series.
