Can I use my Amd Radeon 7790 HD?

Well in my research the 7790HD have a TDP of 85W. I have a current 6770HD on my system that have a TDP of 108W. I have a generic 650W 50% efficient though I will be changing it after a month or 2 with a "thermaltake 500W TR2 S 80PLUS TRUE RATED POWER SUPPLY"

So if I can run the 6770HD with a higher TDP with that powersupply, Can I run the 7790HD with a lower TDP?

Gigabyte B85M-HD3 M-ATX LGA1150
Core I5 4460 3.2Ghz 6MB LGA 1150
Blue Western Digital 1TB Sata 3
Team Elite 8Gb DDR3 1600 MHZ

There should be no problems using the HD7790 in your system, you should gain some performance from the swap.

If you have not yet purchased the TT TR2 S 500W PSU, I'll recommend researching a little more for a higher quality PSU, this thread may help with that http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html (some of the TT ToughPower series are well received)

1. Absolutely no worries about using the new gpu, it'll be a nice bump in performance.
2. Please No! Not a TR2! Those units are a disaster waiting to happen, and when they do, it's never quiet death, often a rather spectacular fireworks display that stands an above average chance of destroying not only the gpu, but the motherboard as well. Don't be fooled by the advertising!

so i can use the 7790HD with that generic unrated psu which is most likely 300 watts? I will use it for just a month or two while saving a money to buy a new psu

well if u say that i will just find another with the same price range. if i can find one. cause im in the philippines and its hard to find other brands

You can attempt it but I wouldn't have high expectations. Many generic PSU's are not capable of the power output they claim.
