Can I use my Windows 8 install disk twice?

I'm thinking about upgrading my SSD soon but that would involve reinstalling Windows, can I use the same key on two different SSDs if one of them is out of use? Like if I format my current one and then install the same windows on the new drive will that work or do I have to buy it all over again?

In the same system, you can reinstall on a different drive no problem, with the same license key.

Or, you can probably clone directly from the old drive to the new drive.

I've already tried cloning it from last time I installed windows but I still have the install disk and license key so that shouldn't be a problem, thanks
