Question Replace CPU A8 6500B with another CPU

Hi can I replace my CPU with another one? Does it need FM2 support?

If your motherboard is an fm2 board then it will have to be an am2 CPU. You’ll need to go to the manufacturer’s website and it should show a list of what’s compatible.

That said the FM2 socket is so outdated that you’d be better off retiring the system entirely and trying to find a newer pc.
