Can I use one display connected to graphics card and another connected to motherboard?

Hello. I have just bought a second monitor and my HDMI cable doesn't reach all the way to the bottom where my gtx 1050 is so I was wondering if I could connect my other monitor to the motherboard instead. If I can do this how can I do it? Thanks

Solution
Depends on motherboard. Most allow such option, but you need to activate it in BIOS, because normally when you install GPU integrated card is disabled. Once you do that, install VGA drivers found on motherboard's site and that's it. Note however that monitor connected to motherboard will run out of iGPU, so gaming on it is pretty much out of question.
