Can i use the camera function on a sim-locked phone

Hello guys

I was wondering, if I buy a used, sim-locked iPhone, that is locked for AT&T users only (AT&T is just an example, could be any company) will I be able to use unlock the phone without having AT&T as my mobile operator, not for using the calling/texting functions, but only for using the internet, or camera function, or in other words, use it as an iPod touch?

If you know anything on this topic, any help will be much appreciated 🙂

yes, you only need a sim for calling/txt/data. wifi/camera/etc all work without any sim or regardless carrier.
