Can i use the MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING for an sli build?

i am building a new pc and i do not know if i am able to use 2 gpus while using at least 2 sata ports without the second gpu interfering with the sata cables.

pc parts:
cpu:i5 6600k
cpu cooler:cooler master hyper 212x
motherboard:MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING
storage: a 2TB HDD and a crucial bx200 ssd
case:corsair200r
gpu:2x gainward nvidia geforce 9800 gt 1gb

It seems like there are at least 2 of the SATA ports that won't be in the way of any GPU (the top two). The other two are indeed in line with the second PCIe port, so there might be problems. I'd check: unplug your GPU from the top PCIe slot and plug in the next one, and check whether the SATA cables can be plugged or not. can the other 2 sata ports at the corner of the motherboard used for a ssd and a hdd?

Oh, i hadn't seen those other two ports, hehe Yes, all 6 SATA ports can be used, for HDDs/SSDs/optical drives, whichever you want.
