Can I use these GPUs for a X58A-UD3R?

Hello everyone, I currently have a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, an Nvidia GTX 980 4GB on it, and I wonder if I could use my other GPU, a Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB, as a second GPU, and hope that games would run better.

My specs:
Intel i7 960 3.2 GHz (8 cores)
GTX 980 4GB
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
12 GB RAM

No you would need another 980, you can only mix two of the same GPUs.
