I have bought 32 gb of crucial ram (2x16)
DDR4 2400 CL17, and when I put it in my pc, my pc bots up, but then my monitor doesn't get a signal. I then went into my bios, and tried to change the RAM, in the OC part, i didn't get the option for DDR4 2400 CL17, I only got from CL1-CL16.
Why is this?
Will I be able to use this ram on my pc or do I have to send it back?
(XMP is not supported)
Thank you for your time

Could you post your system specs.
It will be helpful to know at least the motherboard model you have.
H310M PRO-M2 PLUS (MS-7C08). (motherboard).
i5-9400 CPU @2.4Ghz.
Tell me if you need more information, I've only just gotten into pc's..
DDR4 2133, 2400 & 2666 should work on that motherboard.
Manual XMP (OC) is not available on the entry level H310 chipset platform.
Make sure you have the lates BIOS , which helps with RAM support.
okay, can you please tell me how to make sure my bios is updated?
