Can I5 4460 run on Asus H81m-d motherboard

Hi guys, I'm using Asus H81m-d motherboard with G3440 CPU. I want to upgrade to i5-4460 but many people say that it isn't good when you run an i5 cpu on H81 motherboard (except some gaming version). Can you help me answer this question? Thanks

Thanks Calvin for quick replay. I hear that H81m-d cannot provide enough power to i5 CPU. It makes cpu broken. Is it true?

The Asus H81m-d fully supports 84w TDP cpu's as long as it has a supporting BIOS version
