Can my Asus M3A78-EM mobo support high density ram?

Question in title. I've been searching around but can't really find any answers. Someone on a forum years ago said "Probably not" but nothing is definite. How can I tell? The manual says nothing about density support.

I do not know what you mean by "high density ram." The only ram your mobo can support is 8gb of DDR2 1066.

I would explain, but you'd probably get the best explanations by Googling. Basically, high density ram has more memory packed into the individual chips, and apparently not all computers (Asus boards in particular according to some) will work with this type of ram.

I'm trying to upgrade my PC on a tight budget and high density ram is the cheapest. I just don't know if it will work.

Density is not important you need to look at the speed and amount like I listed before. You can get a maximum of 8gb DDR2 1066 Mhz.
