If you only want to run indie games and MOBAs yes, triple-A titles no. To run triple-A games at good settings with a decent framerate at 4K you need a GTX 1080 (I guess 1070 also works if you're fine with 30FPS).

Can the 1060 run games like GTA V and Battlefield 4 on a 1080p screen or 1440p screen with 60fps or more
The 1060 is ideal for 1080p, it will run 1440p but really a 1070 is a better choice for that resolution. Plenty of benchmarks and reviews out there for both

Its just that im building a custom PC and it cost £1,119 and if i get the 1070 it goes up to £1,300 so
But I'd recommend reading some detailed reviews and consider a 1070 although more expensive should meet your needs longer.
