I have a 5950X. I use a Noctua NH-D15 for cooling. CPU voltages are stock.
Motherboard is Asrock X570 PG Velocita.
Chasis is a massive Thor tower with lots of fans including the largest ones on the side and top.
What I HAVE tweaked is the power to the fans (CPU and chasis) based on CPU temp, and I did it all within the BIOS. I had little luck and satisfaction with the Asrock software.
I don't hear any fans during "normal" operation.
The fans spin up and become audible when I put the system under load, such as running ffmpeg for video creation.
I have four sticks of memory totaling 48GB. I run it at "factory OC"; I forget the name for it (XMP?), but it's the timing and speed the memory is rated for, which is higher than what the motherboard would default to.
I live in southern AZ and the ambient temp in my room in the summer can be in the 90s. No overheating issues, at least on the computer side of things.
