It can, but it isn't a quality PSU and though it is advertised to support GPU's it is not actually built to handle one. I would get the Corsair CX500M along with your GTX 970 for safety's sake.

Corsair CX series is likely better than Huntkey, but something from tier1 or 2 on this list would be better if your budget allows-
