I have a Asus ROG Strix G512LI (not really important). A friend spilled some coke on the keyboard and it fully died after it being on for 10 minutes. It's been a year since that happened and a year later (which is now) I opened the laptop and got access to the motherboard. I attached an image so the forum readers can see if this is repairable or not. I'm relatively new to all of this so I'm mainly wondering if I clean this corrosion, can the laptop be saved? Thanks!

Maybe in the factory that made it but that may be prohibitively expensive. Liquids tend to short contacts and solder and components burn out, which may not even be visible and usually when one part burns out it drags other components with it.

Alright, so do you think I should just give it a try or is it useless to try and clean the corrosion off? Might just try for fun tbh and pray it turns on 😭. Thank you for your information tho.
