I need help with this if anyone sees this, my mother board is a 970A-G43-PLUS and my 1050 is not very good at running games that i like to play. i am looking into a GTX 1660-ti but it is on gddr6 and my mobo supports ddr3 and im getting mixed answers from the internet. if anyone could help I would be greatful.

Solution
The memory used by your motherboard and that used by the GPU are separate and distinct from one another. The GTX 1660 Ti should be fine in that motherboard.

so i wouldn't encounter any problems when installing the new card because the 1660-ti uses PCI Ex 3.0 and my mobo has PCI Ex16 2. idk what that means, im new to computers but i just wanna make sure everything fits
