Hi
I have an asrock fm2a88m extreme4+ motherboard and I am looking to buy an r7 250 1gb but as I can afford two I was wondering whether my motherboard would be able to power them without connecting them to a PSU.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
there are two things
1. your mobo can have two gpu.
2. dont buy two weak gpu in crossfire or sli. instead use one more powerfull. that make sence
i would say buy a R9 280 or an gtx 960
since price of both these card is almost twice than r7. go for r9 only if your psu can power this Gpu otherwise 960 is far far better choice in terms of tdp and performance.

Your motherboard does have two x16 PCEe slots, operating at x16 and x4 when both are in use. Not the best Crossfire mode, but serviceable.

That said, like Rajeshgoblet said, it would be better to spend the money on a single, more powerful GPU.
