I have a motherboard from gigabyte
Gigabyte h110m s2pt
can it run a gtx card from nvidia or AMD

GTX card is from NVidia, not AMD. And yes, it can run fine.

It doesn't matter what motherboard brand or type you have (whether its intel or amd)-they will run either Nvidia or AMD cards just fine.

Only 3 things a gpu needs. Power, slot, drivers. Power comes from a correctly sized psu. Slot is the long one on any mobo built in the last 10 or so years. Drivers come from amd or nvidia depending on the video card.

Brands don't matter for compatability.
