Can my motherboard run with this DDR2 RAM

So i got MSI N1996 motherboard.Should be these specs: http://motherboard.findthebest.com/l/1316/MSI-MSI-N1996
I wanna install 2Gb UNB PC2-6400.
At the moment i got installed 1Gb 2Rx8 PC2-5300U-555-12.

yes you can install a faster memory,But it will clock itself down to the speed supported by the motherboard.

and i would not mix those two ram modules as it would cause much more problems.Blue screes are the worst!

Can give it a try, no guarantees that it will play nice with the older stick
