Can my pc run on a 550 watt psu even if i don't need 550 wattage power ???

My Pc components are:
Intel DH77EB motherboard
Intel i3 3220 processor
Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7750 Graphics Card
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB Ram
And A Wd20ezrx HDD

I know these will need a wattage of around 450 watt but still i want to know that whether i can use 550 watt psu and will any problem occur in using it ???

This build will draw less power than you say...it will draw around 250w.if you want to buy a psu,don't buy the first psu you see that says 550w...you have to look the amberes,if the company and the model is good...about your question,every psu will work for your system,from a quality 400w to a 1200w(example)
It depends on the PSU you are using. A bad quality 550W PSU that is not efficient will be easily run over by a good quality 400W PSU. It is not how much power it draws from the socket but how much it actually delivers to your system that matters.
