I have a Prime B660M-A D4 and an intel i5 12400 and Corsair ram that has 3200 and every time I try to overlock the ram to 3200 my system because unstable is there something I am missing from the parts I listed that is not compatible with boosting the ram speed?

The integrated memory controller on your processor should be able to go there, per Intel's statement here;
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...12400-processor-18m-cache-up-to-4-40-ghz.html
then comes the board, stating it here;
so yes.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Make and model of the ram kit you're working with?

Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16
Try and update the BIOS, clear the CMOS after your last BIOS update, then manually set the frequency, timings and voltage as shown on the stickered side of the ram in BIOS if X.M.P doesn't yield any results.
