G'day.
I've suddenly got an error when trying to browse files on one of my mothers networked PC.
The error is: (computer name/address) is not accessible. You might not have permission... bla bla bla. logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
Both mine and mothers Windows 10 (1703) PC's are connected to the same router by wired connections, have static IP's and are both on the same work group.
I've always been able to browse shared files/HDD's on both PC's and from either one of them.
I can browse files on my PC from mothers but not hers from mine.
Mother and I have not made any changes to any setting and have not noticed anything unusual happening. All drives'/folders are still shared as they have always been.
I tried accessing mothers HDD by clicking on the icon for her computer in the network folder. I also tried entering \\192.168.3.111 in windows explorer. I've also restarted both PC's and the router numerous times but still get the same error.
Our network has been working flawlessly for months. What would be the common reasons for this error to suddenly start appearing?
If anyone could help I'd be very grateful.
Many thanks in advance.
If anyone
