Decided to add a third monitor to my pc setup for gaming it is 75hz.

My gfx card has 1 hdmi output and 4 DP outputs.

i tried using the spare DP outputs to hdmi on the monitor and couldnt get above 60hz.

So unplugged the hdmi to hdmi i was using for the tv and boom 75hz.

With this i needed then to use one of the DP outputs to hook up to my Tv as i was using the hdmi to get 75hz on my new monitor.

Ordered another HDMI cable with a DP convertor.

Hooked it up and got a picture but im limited to 1080p... can no longer select 4k resolution like i had previously used...

So frustrated switching all these wires about and fixing one problem to get another.

Any ideas why its not reporting to my pc its 4k now ? is it the little convertor thats possibly disrupting the correct information ?

I guess there is a work around to avoid buying more wires...

I could hook the TV directly to the mobo's hdmi output this would bypass needing to convert.

But i was really hoping to keep all monitors on the GFX card.

4k isnt all that demanding on low settings for my Ryzen 2200g however i had planned on using highest madvr settings with gfx supporting it.

If i plug into the mobo i take it then then it will be the APU integrated graphics powering it ?
