[SOLVED] Can Noctua Fan be used on Cooler Master Heatsink?

My current cooler master fan is very loud and I cannot control RGB due to compatibility issues. So I figure it is best to have a different fan entirely.

Is this possible to do, as in can I simply attach a Noctua CPU cooler fan or any other CPU fan to this one?

Could you recommend any other fans to be used here?

It can, but you need to find a way to mount it.

That coolermaster cooler has like, bars that hold the fan on the heatsink.
Noctua fans connect using little wires, which might not fit the heatsink. also, the fans don't come with those wires I think.

Mounting is not an issue, these bars on my current fan can be unscrewed and installed on the Noctua, my main concern was compatibility.

If I make this change I won't need to go into BIOS or anything complicated like that right?

You can use any 120mm pwm fan on Cooler Master Hyper 212.
